  • Winter landscapes too, images of them. Lots of insects flying about in winter? "Oh well I film bugs close up and they look like rods Thats all they are, I'm an idiot!" Thats you

  • @gregtool9 Your not an Idiot, this is just something you know absolutely nothing about. ANY small moving object can cause the effect,.. ANY! Snowflakes, paper, ANY debris, any small object passing by the lens, shutter speeds can and do cause the effect! In summery, ALL rods ever seen are just camera effects. Case closed.

  • @nixter1nixter1 except not. yuou DO realize we've captured these creatures now, right? so whats your explanation now?

  • @guineapiggyman You will probably be surprised to hear that I am aware of the fact that they have been caught, I have caught several of them myself. Problem so far has been that when I look into the net, the "rod" always changes into a moth or some other small object. We can catch them, but they always, so far, turn out to be common objects that were traveling by at speed and seemed to be rods, but they turn out to be known objects. Keep trying though, maybe you'll catch one.

  • @nixter1nixter1 Dont you love ignorant fools, with a rational capability of a 5 year old mental disabled child?

  • @CTDConsciousness says: Dont you love ignorant fools, with a rational capability of a 5 year old mental disabled child?

    Nixter1nixter1' Answer: NO!

  • @ThatDudeABC They are real, real Moths that when using a High Speed Camera they can be seen. There was a TV Special about them and they proved it over and over with one a normal camera side by side to a high speed cameran, the Normal Camera got the Rod and the high speed was able to catch the Moth.

  • i remember watching an hour-long show about these about 12 years ago when i was a kid. i was completely fascinated because the show was very biased in favour of them being some kind of alien lifeform or ship (probably for entertainment purposes). its kind of a downer to find out that they are mere optical illusions.

  • why are flying rods so interesting to people any ways?

yeah they are insects...congradulations you made the x files fan group now!!! you deserve a badge

  • @nixter1nixter1 This is exactly right! I know people like a mystery, and there's plenty of legit ones out there, but this boils down to high speed bugs, objects, whatever mixed with camera effects or slow shutter speed. I know there are ones in the sky that look convincing but the simplest explanation is often the correct one. Mysterious creature from another dimension or just high speed objects and poor shutter speeds. There's enough duplication of the latter to prove it...

  • If these are living beings why has one never fallen to the earth? Are they immortal? Nah its just the cameras fuckin with your heads

  • that did show the rod debate well, I have filmed something that for all intense purposes appears to be flying rods, but they are not like a normal insect, I will add the video after this comment. I have had about 8 encounters with these strange anomolies , but have not re encountered them now for 9 months.

  • @nixter1nixter1 I think there's better things to do in life than catching these "Rods/Moths"?

  • i don't believe this.

  • My theory is Rods are just creatures and animals that we haven't discovered yet because they're too fast
