When my parents went away for two weeks my dog wouldn't eat the whole time and started pulling her hair out. How is that not despair? I could think of a human as being in despair long before they started doing something like pulling their hair out.

I can't believe this woman calls herself an animal behaviouralist and would then make such blanket statements. There is proof that plenty of animals experience grief, despair and all the rest. Look up the mother bear having her gall bladder milked for bile who killed her cub and then herself.

Animals are livings like humans. Their size is almost same as human. Stab dolphins, they feel pain, just like humans.

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP! Animals have feelings too. They CAN feel depressed. They CAN feel neglected. They DO feel lonely.

How you know they are not! Simple logic. Put yourself in the dolphins shoes. How about if I capture you from your house and made money off you by putting you in a chamber and perform tricks for my family members without asking for your permission?! ASSES.
