Some Mono Evolver Presets MEK

I've had several people ask me to post some of the factory presets from the Dave Smith Mono Evolver keyboard. Here are a few...along with a drum machine thru several "External In" patches. Most of these patches really take advantage of the stereo out - so unfortunately you will only hear them in mono. I used to have an Arp 2600 which was a joy to program with all the patch points. You can actually get even more radical sounds out of the MEK. Its internal patch system is very "modular like." Some of the presets are "drone" patches that play themselves - others utilize the sequencer. No matter what the patch, though, there is a sequence ready to go. I really like this synth. It is a programmer's dream. I would also like to get a Moog Little Phatty just for its "sound." But for electronica/experimental/noise stuff -you can't beat the MEK for versatility.

are these presets with the poly evolver too? I found a used poly evolver and its my first and I am blown away....but really confused at times

I am not that familiar with the poly evolver. I messed around a couple times with a floor model at guitar center but it was pretty ratty. three of the knobs had been stolen by customers and some of the presets were destroyed by people overwriting them. The keyboard room is basically a daycare center as dad shops for guitars the kids trigger hip hop loops on the fantoms and motifs.

my god! i regret not have bought one when i had the opportunity, instead i've opted for other synths, with some i'm satisfied , some others so and so , but the evolver is ace! what a character, i like very much the presets, now i will have to wait for get one...so impatiently

I'm thinking of buying the DSI Mono Evolver , without the keyboard. is the only difference the keyboard and layout, or can you make better sounds using the keyboard version? thanks
