I review the first live episode of NBC's hit show "The Voice", which stars Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. I also rant about people who have a problem with Christina's weight.

@ airwick0905 oh, and thanks for the rant- I keep hearing all these people speak negatively about her weight when she is not even fat- and I think it sends the wrong message to people who struggle with their weight and are sensitive on the subject- basically the medias acknowledging that "yeah, we do make fun of a person because of how they look, when their going through a rough time." amazing how no one task about Cee Lo's weight-another double standard that is sadly enforced by the pathetic m

Agreed, 603%! It SO sends out the wrong message to kids and even naive adults. It's sad to me that people keep calling her fat (because she clearly is NOT), but like you, I feel I'm more defensive over her than she is herself. If someone told her to her face she was fat, I guarantee she'd coyly laugh and say something clever like, "The bigger, the better, baby!"

@airwick0905 well i dont see her make up as being like a drag queen, but she looks prettier for me when she tones it down.anyway, i love xtina cuz of her awesome voice.i remember when i was young i used to copy her style,specially the flame red hair she donned during come on over vid,and i love her classy look during back to basics.Im only referring to the make up she had during that ep of the voice. it's too much and it didnt complement her beauty. and like i said, despite it i still love her!

Yeah, I personally love Christina's natural look, when she goes for it, but I know she likes to gussy up and be girly for certain things, so hey, if it makes her happy, I'm happy for her!

I sort of disagree. Dia was amazing. I think its one of those songs that you just have to listen very carefully to really appreciate her voice. But hey, I have been a fan for years now. I sort of agree with most of your comments. I'll check back next time to see what your opinions are.

I'm listening to her performance again. Would it be fair to compare her to Michelle Branch? Idk. I still feel the same way. It's not that she's bad, she's NOT. Idk! I just don't know what it is.

christina has been getting rip into by media kelly osborne just alot of christina hate. i think it is uncall for hate. she had a child a few years ago. so of course she is going to gain weight. i still am christina fan. because i fan of her because of her amazing vocals and singing talent. with she still has great singing voice in 2012. christina fan 13 years

well at least christina can still sing great. christina has great voice. can't say the same thing about adam levine. who sounds like a chipmunk!

@ airwick0905 I totally agree-that's why I love her so much- because I can relate to things being taken the wrong way. But see, I get defensive, whereas Christina's smarter than me and knows to just ignore the negativity so many people bring to the table-and see, I wish I had the confidence to react in the samy way she does- I think I'm more defensive over her than she is over herself.

I KNOW! I can't believe the negative press she is getting for her comments. I feel like no matter what she says or does, she's going to be scrutinized. But I read that she doesn't read the negative stuff, so more power to her. I say she keeps doing what shat does and she doesn't have to make anyone happy but herself. Some people just need to lighten up!

She is who she is...I've been a fan for that long too and I've grown to understand that the makeup is just who she is. People can call her a drag queen all they want (not saying you are, but I've heard that comment several times), but I think she's pretty no matter what. I'm really excited to see what her next album is going to be like.
