Pastor Evan Prosser was a blessed man; he had a ministry and comfortable life. While driving one night he heard the lord call him and he left his old life to go to San Francisco and minister to the homeless. Since 1994 he's been preaching to the homeless on the streets, rehabilitating the lost and saving lives. He now operates a half way house for the homeless, the Grace Healing Home and continues to change lives.

  • Inspiring work God Bless You Friend!

  • @paulinotou Hi, I know Cluj.. Yr camp was possibly Gilau? More power to you for making the effort. My rant was really a hard poke at pew fillers rather than people who DO make the effort. God bless you.

  • @paternosterUK somewhere in Transylvania near the city of Cluj (escuse my spelling). we stayed at camp el derado. my Church does a lot of charity work. a couple months ago in December we made a christmas dinner and gave out presents to a home for the mentally and physically disabled.

  • @paulinotou. your optimistic view of the Christian church is not reflested in hard statisics. The church in the west is inward looking. The reason I can go the 4000 miles, is because that is where God told me to go to. My church also caters for homeless in our own city. I wish all churches would do this. I agree that may Christian ARE charitable My crit is to the many that are not. Where in Romania did you go?

  • @paternosterUK dude how the hell can you go 4000 miles just like that. i know other people are need of help but just because you can do doesnt mean everyone can. and christians do so much for the poor. this summer i went with this christian group down to Romania to help build playgrounds and clean up schools. and any big cities have churches loaded with homeless people. im not defending religion or anything, but from what i witness, christians are very charitable people. not all of them ofcourse

  • @paulinotou and -- if i can do it... so can others. If they dont want to... they can assist others to do it by coughing up some dough.

  • @paulinotou I'm addressing Christians so, If you are not a Christian then i dont really expect anything else. Christians have a commission to GO into all the world. Matt 25 also compels them to take care of the poor.Sadly the church is lazy & selfish offering less than 1% of its giving to help foreign aid. I too have kids to take care of. I raised three of them but still drove the 4000 miles (over 40 times) to ROmania to feed the homeless. I am just an ordinary man trying to live what I preach.

  • @paternosterUK dude people have kids and their lives to take care of before they can travel across the world to take care of other people

  • Thank you Jesus.

  • to the shame of many christians sitting in warm, dry churches throught the western nations, did you know that the homeless congregation of this church gives sacrificially to missions in Dminican republic. I think that is awesome and a lesson to the many over-fed confortable Christians, many of whom wouldn't give a dime to help anyone. I'm blown away by these people and their selfless leaders.
