I think, her being the kind of openhearted musician that she is, she would appreciate any cover versions of her songs made by fans on any level. If this particular cover is in her personal taste, we will probably never know, but why should she be offended for being loved and cherished?
Me, I'm a fan of both Natacha and Fairouz.

Natacha has her own remarkable personality, she never needed to 'imitate' someone or something! Natacha, as Fairouz, is really rare, and unique on contemporary musical scene. Natacha has her own audience and we can hardly compare her to anyone other.

Hmm...Actually, with Fairouz' widely known attitude to all music everywhere and her own huge work and acheivement towards pulling down borders between any barriers, both cultural, religious, musical and otherwise, I hardly believe, she would drop dead for listening to this enterpretation.

By the way, her version of two Fairouz evergreen classics (with 'la ta3teb 3alay') are quite rich, exquisite, worth listening... Natacha made this tribute with her own unique colourite, and, more, she really succeeded in transforming these Lebanese classic songs into pure Egyptian style, with the very refined beautiful arrangements, made by the Ehyptian 'ustazs' of her group!

Natacha Atlas, being a devote fan of Fairouz herself, just gave us (and we all, the admirers of Natacha's talent, are very glad hearing her performing just pure 'middle eastern' arabic music!) her own interpretation of لشو الحكي؟, not even trying to 'pretend' on something!

omg people are just ignorant, Natacha has a beautiful voice no question whatsoever about it, she has not claimed to be better or have a better voice she is just singing it like a tribute to Fairouz and giving her own version of the song! really, only people who don't know real music would say this is bad........
