@l3fth4nd How many children did Sanger have?
-
wtf he just said women who get rapped get abortion that makes sense so why is it unjust hes a idiot
-
@yugmrala tell me again why your opinion should have any bearing on a woman's right to choose an abortion?
right... it doesn't. the highest law of the land has upheld abortions, it's time to move on.
-
I'm pro choice yep women have the right to choose to keep their legs closed. Abortion is murder even in the case of rape. The baby didn't rape anyone y kill the baby. That would be like if a Guy walked up to u and punched u and u turned and smacked ur kid
-
"Abortion is a relatively new idea..." ????? NO, SAFE abortion is a relatively new idea.
-
@BrcCmplfan It is taken out of context and the comment was made to be ironic on Sanger's part. She was reflecting upon the high mortality rates that women suffered during childbirth in large families. Nearly a quarter of women died beyond the first childbirth. Sanger was opposed to abortion and was making an appeal to why women should control their family size through contraception.

"Abortion is a relatively new idea..." Nope, abortion was legal in the early USA till the 1850s and beyond, Glenn. Granted, it is a little known fact but opposition to abortion is the only thing "progressive."
-
@DAVIDIHBEN Fuck you. Why does anyone think they have the right to condemn a woman for an abortion? Will you, as a male, ever go through a pregnancy? No. So keep your obsolete and offensive opinions to yourself.
No one in the world can tell a woman to do with HER body and her life. The sooner vile, misogynistic, narrow minded cunts like you realise that, the better humanity will be. Your kind gives your faith an awful reputation.

This episode has nothing to do with abortion, it is a bitter polemic against planned parenthood. In case you were wondering abortion and planned parenthood are not the same thing, nor the same issue.
This is going to be discussed as the slavery debate of our time? Seriously????? Why not discuss actual slavery that still exists, human trafficking, child slaves in the shrimp and chocolate industries, coltan workers being robbed at gunpoint in the Congo, etc, etc, etc.................

@thirteendays13 It has nothing to do with slavery, it is the GREAT MORAL DILEMMA of our time.
This is America, the issue is American support for things going on in America under the guise of birth control and "reproductive services". We can expose this institutionalized evil that is being supported by our tax dollars and do something about it. Right now Planned Parenthood is getting away with whitewashing their image as a community service while covering up child rape and incest.

How is it that a person, such as yourself sees the "falsehoods" in a college textbook but not the ones in Glen's show. This isn't me attacking you or whatever im just extremely curious. Doesn't seem like the work of a well learned or even sufficiently researched individual. What i guess im asking is what does an intelligent human being pull from such profound UN-intelligent misinformation.

@bdwashoingto1 Once again, it's about reading original sources. Margarete Sanger was proud of her views. This woman on with Beck tonight has been making these undercover videos for 5 years in many states. There is a concerted effort to cover the ugly truth with a more acceptable version.
When partial birth abortion was being debated in congress there were graphic descriptions of the "procedure" that were scrubbed from the record because they were too offensive, none who heard that could allow it

have you? have you seriously read from this woman or are you just pulling from what you've heard about her from Glenn? Seriously, if you have I've tons more respect for you, you're not the average one then.

@carriehenry Honestly, I have read Sanger, as well as a black woman whose name escapes me at the moment whose reply is noteworthy. My favorite subject in college is history, and the textbook we have is so riddled with mistakes, omissions, and falsehoods that the professor won't use it. He teaches entirely from original texts and writings. The extreme racism from the early 1900's is directly related with the assassination of Lincoln, who wanted to mend with the South by forgiveness and love.
