그래 한국이 자랑스럽다.... 정말 하지만, 더욱 자랑스러워 질려면, 스스로 겸손하고 이웃을 도울줄 아는 예전의 모습도 필요하다. 넓게는 전세계에 굶주린 사람도 많고 작게는 주변에 불우한 이웃을 도울줄 아는 한국인이 되었으면 한다. 예전에 우리가 굶주렸을때 우리의 아버지 어머니가 우리에게 했던 것 처럼, 지금의 한국은 물질보다는 예전 부모님 세대의 정신이 더 필요하다고 생각한다.

If Korea was able to undergo this dramatic change in 50 years I don't see why we can't go even higher. Some parts may be unstable now but we can fix them.
The Germans in the 1930s-1940s also had to "liberate their fellow Germans" and "expand their living space". Seriously, do you actually believe what this old Japanese man says? Next time, a little research would go a long way
This is what is saddening about the world- there are people who would seek to distort the past and even justify it. What Japan did was unjustifiable and it only by recognizing this that there can be true reconciliation
