Did he not pass away shortly after this performance? Also, on my 4th listen. Wow, music from his heart and soul.

Kenny also played at the Blue Note in Georgetgown, DC. THE finest memory of my life!

I was trying to remember the haunting voince I heard in the 60's at the "Blue Note" in Manhattan Beach when I remembered he had sung this song. After stumbling around on youTube I came across Kenny . I was so excited to be reunited with that voice only to find that he had passed away. What a immeasurable loss to the world of music. He had such a gift!

I booked kenny for the slaughterhouse in laramie, wy in 1973. He was awesome! I later interviewed him for the campus radio stations...he grabbed the mike and started interviewing ME! He played for our radio station in casper, wy in 1984. One of the most passionate voices I've ever heard. I was sad to hear about his passing.

Good God!

I liked Kenny even more without any help from arrangers or strings. Just Kenny in a club in Georgetown or someplace, a stool and his guitar and a mike. He was a complete event, true and lovely always.
