Does anyone have really vivid memories of the intro - exactly which faces appeared, and in which order?
-
ooooooooooooooooh that's the music!!! I'm sure that's what I'm remembering, shame about the visuals. Could it be that after all these years I'm actually going to get to watch the original intro???? I've been obsessed by it ever since.

From your description, `The Friday Night Film' must have had the same intro, just a different title. As a kid, i remember me, my mother and Gran staying at a relative's house, and i was allowed to stop up to watch `Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed' (this was in 1975), and i remember being amazed at the intro which opened the film. I remember the faces of loads of different monsters, as well as wild cats/birds. The final face was Karloff's Monster.

@SuperZebadee That's the one. Mega creepy intro and way superior to the 90s version.

Yay, great music! Ive been waiting to hear this ever since i chanced upon discussion sites etc earlier this year with many comments about `AWF' and how scary the intro was. We didnt have it in Tyne Tees area, we had `The Friday Night Film' which, i think, had a different intro. Pleased ive finally got to hear the music. Do you remember which faces appeared in the intro?

@SuperZebadee Seems there's lots of us out there wanting to see the original 70s intro. Someone must have it somewhere? We taped this from the tv before videos emerged. I remember the faces morphing from wild animals to supernatural creatures like Chaney's wolfman, Lugosi's vampire and Karloff's creature amongst others.
