  • Very helpful, but I would like to be able to see the F buttons on the bottom of the screen. It would be helpful to be able to read them as you are selecting them. I could follow better that way. I know you explain what you are doing, but it would still be easier to follow.

  • @stillme4you Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't realize my camera would cut off parts of the frame :(

  • How about the other way around? In other words how do you export SMF from the Fantom G into your computer, to use in a DAW? I can see the option in the Song Utility menu, but when I go to save it, the screen gives me a warning about some type of protection or copyright infringement. Please advise if you know to to get around this little problem.

  • @4iamu Yes I've encountered this issue as well :( If original MIDI you imported has copyright message (usually on track 1) OR you use any of the Fantom's built in Phrases, then there's no way to export MIDI from it :(

  • I have 7 keyboards the best money can buy .... this one Fantom gaved me everything I ever needed ! I learned my favorite song cheri cheri lady from your video . • Oh, and thank you. These two videos are really helpful.

  • @bratan007 Hey, thanks a lot! That makes a lot of sense, now that I think about it. I did use a Fantom G built-in phrase as a groove track for timing my high hats. I will go back and delete that phrase, re-save the song under a different name and a different file, then see if it will work this time. Again, thank you very much for such a quick response and an excellent explanation. Peace and blessings to you!!

  • Hii. I have this probem, whem iput some midi files in the usb fro a mac, then in fantom its shows nothing how can i make it work?its just to work and listening to midi files etc. i restartet the system but it still nothing. hope u can help

  • @MrNazor Easy. Change PAD mode to select tracks/parts. And they use numbered pads to quickly switch to the track you want to play. Please if you have any more questions, send me a message, don't flood the comments area :)
