  • Damn, i know in the heat of the moment it's hard to react but that car wheel hopped so hard, seems like he had time to let off and possibly avoid that...

    The first gauge with the prettty numbers is a wideband o2 sensor. It's directly linked to an o2 sensor in the exahust and it reads real time what your a/f fuel ratio is. Higher the number, leaner you are. Probably the most important tuning tool one can have.

  • That was not wheel hop. That was what the car does when it is missing 9 teeth on the ring gear caused by launching off the rev limiter at high rpm with no preload in the driveline. I did let off sooner than that, but the car does not instantly rev down and since I side stepped the clutch, it takes a second to move my foot back onto it.

  • this is an old vid but i liv in queens, have a 7mgte 87 supra and drag race at e town every chance i get looking for improvment, What were your 60ft time when the car was 5spd? Did you use a 2step at all?
