@DJ5HY Thanks I built the booth myself. I used 5/8 plywood, 2x2s and angle brackets. Covered it in speaker carpet and added all the aluminum molding, hardware and rack rails.

What's your light controller set up?

@foxIIbassoonist My light control setup consists of three controllers. The first is the DMX operator pro which controls all 10 par cans, 4 Fusion scans, The Wave, and the Galaxian Sky. the second is the SC8 relay switch pack, it controls on/off lights like my UV cannon, Lotus and Laser Widow. The third is the S-4A strobe controller hooked up to 4 Snap Shot 2s.

all that money on lighting and nobody at the store ever told you to get your speakers off the floor? if you're gonna run dual-woofer speakers, you gotta put them on a stage or a sub...

Sorry man, but I have to agree with most of the other people here. The lights are over kill. You have enough lights for a huge club up on that rack and concentrating that many in one place is just too much. A good dj setup only needs 5 or 6 lights to cover almost any hall. If you pick the right lights. And another thing. TIll you are mixing at the very least on a good controller (NS6/NS7/something from VESTAX) you aren't a dj, you need to be able to mix, not just sync and play.

Way too many lights for that size room, would expect more lights for a bigger hall and having that old monitor cramps the style otherwise its pretty cool

Spread the legs of your winch-up lighting stands out fully before you kill someone. Your cables on the truss are way too messy. Try electrical tape or Velcro straps. I'm sure it looks nice in the dark.

What ever happened to being a real dj, at the very least a good controller with 2 tables, you know, real mixing, live... I swear, anybody can throw together a system, make it look fancy with a bunch of lights and call themselves a dj now.
