Just purchased a 95 xr7 cougar for about 1200. The resale value of the car is about that much, so if there are no, mechanical or body damage probs, then ur good to go

i have a '96 myself, thinking on switching from cat back to independent pipes. would anybody recommento upgrade to 2.25" piping with a couple of series 40 flowmaster? Also, has anybody used the supercoil towers from MSD or Accel? how do they work with this engine?

These cougars have horribly restrictive cats on em. Get rid of the cats, and it will sound just like a mustang. I would also recommend a SLP Loudmouth 1 catback.
