Brilliant Dusty how come zillions didn't cherish her while she was still here?...

FLAWLESS!! Such talent and the way she CONNECTS with the material. You can tell she FEELS each word. One of the last of "The Greats"! IMO, she was never given the respect or recognition that she Truly DESERVED. Maybe posthumously she will finally receive The Legendary Status and Acknowledgment she didn't get while alive. I pray that's what happens for her and those who LOVE her who've loved her back!

@Vstar4me- when did she "come out" and retract that statement? I don't think she did either of those.
In later years she sort of accepted that the tag was on her, but she never publicly announced she was gay OR bi. She always kept that ambiguous.

@nmatavka gay icon is not "an icon who is gay", but "an icon gays like"
-
@gferdinandus is it the 1979 Pricne Alpert Hall show?
-
Who cares??????????????
-
@nmatavka Sorry,, but NO dusty was not Bi, she was 300% Gay!
That was just a comment she used to get the hounding press off her back. She did come out later in life, and also DID retract that Bi comment.
-
@DieterBremen She was bi, actually.

There is a 45 seconds intro before the song.
This is the part is after "interview part 2 of 2"
I hope this will clear things up.

Thank you for sharing this with us!! I found it a while ago on Shirley Bassey's show. I'd never heard the song before, I INSTANTLY fell in love with it and her! I did know Dusty before her premature departure and I liked her voice, found it unique. She did a song w/Richard Carpenter "Something in your eyes" hauntingly beautiful, I remember it when it came out. First second I loved it! Do you, or anybody know if she ever recorded this song for a c.d or DVD or anything? Would love to own! TY!

I think 'Something In Your Eyes' is on Richard Carpenter's album 'Time'. It's also on the Dusty compilation albums 'Something Special' and 'Simply Dusty'. 'I'm Coming Home Again' is fron Dusty's 'Living Without Your Love' album.
