Thomas Farley, commissioner of NYC dept of health, Adrian Beneope, commissioner of Parks and other AC&C Board directors denied over 100 people access to the public meeting held June 21, 2011 3 PM at 125 Worth Street. The room barely fit 45 people and the rest of the public were denied access and waited outside for hours for a slim chance of entering the building. this is against the city charter public meeting guidelines and freedom of information act.
First and foremost - people should have been allowed upstairs, in the halls, in the stiarwells, whereever. NOW that the Board has denied the public access they have broken the law.
If you don't have anything to hide, stop hiding. BUT it seems you have plenty to hide.

This was a SUCCESS. The worst thing they did was deny people access. Making noise and being seen is EXACTLY what needs to happen. Everyone needs to go to the next one - even if they are again denied entry. Just protest outside the building.

At least you got inside the lobby, that's more than we've achieved - we stayed on the street the whole time.

so much for american freedoms when your own public servants won't allow you access. who pays their wages?? get hold of the paper in town and complain.. write a letter to the editor.
