Ice Storm 12/12/2008

The video is short and it was very early in the morning. Caught on tape by my mom from my garage door, around 6am. As you can see, the power line was damn near touching the top of my husbands car. My car was parked in the garage. The tree in our front yard split in half from the weight of the ice on it. It hit the power line and caused the power line to fall into the main road. We still had power at this point. Until of course, the officer left after putting up a horse and flares in the road. Some moron drove through the barricade and caused ripping of the line, tore off the grey box, and smashed the meter on my house. Thanks to the impatient jerk, we are seven days out, and stay don't have power. Milford NH.
