After reading some of the comments below...I can come up with only one conclusion.....WHAT A LOAD OF PRETENTIOUS PRATTS!!!!!!

Je crois que peu de musiciens ont su décrire avec ce lyrisme et cette sorte de désespérance, la passion, les joies et les tourments de l'amour. Les thèmes de cette partition, comme de ses symphonies, de ses ballets etc sont toujours bouleversants de beauté. Mélodiste et orchestrateur hors pair, Tchaïkovski a influencé des compositeurs de musiques de films tels que Alfred Newman, Max Steiner, Miklos Rozsa.... La direction du grand Valery Giergiev apporte ici une force et une émotion inouïes.
