In this episode of State of Jailbreak I go over the new untethered jailbreak pod2g has found for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad 1 and iPad 2. This new untethered jailbreak will be available for devices on iOS 5.0 and 5.0.1 and should be available soon.

Musclenerd also announced that there will be a new redsn0w update that will allow you to use saved SHSH blobs from TinyUmbrella. I highly recommend backing up SHSH blobs on any device you have on iOS 5.0.1 to be ready for when the untethered jailbreak is released.

The tweak of the week is LockScreen Multitasking. LockScreen Multitasking allows you to activate the Multitasking bar on jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch and iPad from the lockscreen and is available free in Cydia.

I'm currently on iOS 5.0 teathered jailbreak should I unjailbreak it and wait for unteathered or will I be able to jailbreak it again while still jailbroke teathered and make it unteathered? Please reply I need to know what to do

@Jantrobutt Don't do anything with it yet. Just save your SHSH and then when the jailbreak comes out you can restore to 5.0.1 and jailbreak untethered.

just downgraded my ipad 2 gms from 5.0.1 to 4.33 with tinycfw makes 4.3.3 updated to the latest baseband dont get an error downgrading any more
