Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing PS3 Demo

Oh yeah! Your favourite Sega fellows going out for an all-out race on various Sega themed tracks!

Yes, the Demo of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing saw the daylight yesterday on PlayStation Store. I was more than happy about this. Why? Because

1) The X360 Demo was released a week back on the day the Marketplace gets updated usually (which I don't know). The Demo is not anymore for just Gold members, so go ahead, download the Demo!
2) I have been thinking if this game has what it takes to conquer the casual Karting throne from Mario Kart. PS3 and X360 owners especially should be happy for this game coming.

3) Simply because it was a Demo of a game I want, duh. xD

So the Demo gives you 1P Single Race and a 2-Player Splitscreen race.

There are two characters to choose from, Sonic (all-around, best turbo boosts) and Dr. Eggman (best speed, good off-road). Yup, time for a classic clash between arch enemies - This time on a race track!

Speaking of which, the PS3 Demo has this track from Billy Hatcher: Blizzard Castle Rampart Road.
It's a fairly easy track to race on. Just stay away from snow and you'll be fine.
You can also set the difficulty of computer racer from Beginner (Easy) to Advanced (Medium) Expert (Hard). Needless to say, I go with Expert.

Should I envy that of X360 Demo? Not really. It has Banjo & Kazooie instead of Dr. Eggman and the track is from Sonic Heroes - Lost Palace. A friend of mine has an X360 as well as PS3, so we most likely get double the fun before the full game comes out.

The controls are simple, yet so smooth. The drifting is similiar that of Mario Kart DoubleDash's AND Wii. Cars don't jump to drift (MKDD) and the longer you drift, the greater the boost (MKWii). I love it.

This game gets released on PS3, X360, Wii and DS. (Why not PSP as well? Hmph.)
I am getting this game for PS3 most likely, but if I plenty of my (online) friends get this game for Wii, I'll be getting this game for that console too, especially if it supports GameCube controllers.

So get behind the wheel and hang on tight! It's going to be a bumpy ride with Sega's All-Star cast!

Well, duh, to make things fair too...

I mean, Sonic had an air board in Sonic Riders. I THOUGHT SONIC DID NOT NEED SUCH A GOD DAMN THING TO GO FAST.

there are some who are even better

like this one is better than mario kart wii

but nothing will ever beat the classics to me like mario kart 64

except for maybe diddy kong racing

games like this and diddy kong racing take the idea of mario kart and expand on it and add their own inovations
