times were much better then; WOW!!! A TALENTED POP STAR THAT ACTUALLY SANG RATHER THAN LIP-SYNCHED. quality of pop music was better. today, so much is pre-manufactured crap.

phisically she looked a little like bullshit spears, but Debbie Gibson could sing LIVE, I mean she could really sing, in fact she does, no playback pure 100% talent. She even wrote her own songs.

We had our own Britney and Christina in the the late 80's, but ours could sing live and wrote her own tunes. But in the end the superficial sexualized tsunami swept her to the side-she was too sweet(note irony of Playboy appearance years later).
