  • When my pa moved to boring East Carolina in 88 all we had was the Atlantic Coast Conference! I fell in love with football because of the North Carolina-Duke rivalry and that was when Steve Spurrier was coaching in the late 80s and when Mack Brown was trying to turn the tarheel program around in the late 80's! Clemson was dominating the conference! This conference has no national credibility and that was what FSU brought in the 90's and Brooks was a huge part of that! He was the best player in 92

  • 0:38 - 0:43 --That is so scary! Go Noles! AAAAHHH!!! I want us to get back to these dayz!!!

  • @bcbayz Ugh, I wouldn't call him your bro then. That's just embarrassing .

  • Instinct- you can't buy it or sell it. Brooks was the most instinctive player ever to play the game.

  • @bcbayz lol really?

  • at the beginning of the vid, when Derrick was saying that he didn't think he'd be able to play OLB in the pros b/c of his size... he knew he could. if he didn't believe it then he wouldnt have worked as hard as he did to become one the greatest OLB's in NFL history. just goes to show how much humility this guy has.

  • This is when REAL football was played, not that pansy ass don't touch the QB SHIT they play now!

  • I'm not a fan of Florida State, nor am I a Buccaneers fan. However, Derrick Brooks is one of my favorite players ever. The intensity he played with, coupled with his physical gifts was just amazing. And best of all, he was and continues to be a great guy off the field.
