This is a very primitive home demo of what would later become Real Love. Some pieces of I'm Stepping Out (particularly the 'if it don't feel right / you don't have to do it' section) are also present. This was recorded in The Dakota in September of 1979.

John was not technically a great musician...we know, and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, the way he pulled a melody out of the bag and his voice just capture an indefinable magic...You get some fantastic technically gifted players who lack that certain something....I think they call it soul!
