I suppose the soundtrack is a little bit of personal opinion, but I really liked it a lot. The song "The Colossus" from a level called "Final Approach" is quite exciting, from a certain point of view - however, when I first heard the music in the game it didn't catch my ears as much as some other games in the series; but after a while I really got to enjoy it, and what a challenge, especially in the earlier portions of the game. Don't miss out on playing the 'secret levels' either - a must-play!

Actually that's right, that song embodies the evilness and creepiness of Dracula's castle, lol sounds weird but it is true, as for the secret levels =( they are hard as hell, they are almost impossible. (I suck)

Yeah the light+dark combo is crazy. I completely disagree with what you said about the soundtrack though. I thought it was great, as always.

Been a long time to get to this, but great work. I don't love this game, but I like it, and that means something. Trust me, game developers, that means something.

Oh I agree - the Training Hall and Large Cavern were two of the most frustrating levels of any Castlevania game I've ever played, but for some reason, I kept going back for more. The Emperor Rings + money trick so you can have lots of potions and meat and stuff helps in those levels lol. Anyway, the music in the Arms Depot and Machine Tower is also pretty awesome. It's just scary to imagine how Shanoa got through all of this on her own!

Its a really nice review u got there but i have to disagree in some points (everybody has his own opinion so plz dont comment something bad abaut my opinion) i think that the game is really easy i mean i played it through in the same day i bought it and the soundtrack is really awesome its not bad, well i hope u understand what im saing i mean like i sad everybody has his own opinion...
