Where are you trying to upload to? Are you uploading from the Flip video camera to your computer or to one of the video-sharing sites?

Does the built-in software allow you to do any editing and cutting?

The Flip camera software has a *very* basic way to basically stick videos together but that is it. You generally use Windows Movie Maker though (which is free) to do basic editing of my videos.
