  • great job man

  • Nice job man. Rooftop wind turbine, that's the place to be. When you get a chance, look for my video of the rooftop wind turbines in high winds. After you see that, maybe have a look at ways to reinforce your mounting and apparatus. I am worried for a big wind to hit your system. Peace.

  • Well done, very neat construction :-) Currently building one for myself, and you've given me an good idea to use plumbing..

If you have an adjustable regulator circuit you may want to set it to 13.8v rather than 13.0 (those/most lead acids can be kept indefinately at 13.8, 15.0 is OK for up to 24 hrs. Most "car" 12v appliances designed for about 14.5 max. Upping to 13.8 will guarantee you reach 100% charge on the battery and give more charge current when the battery is nearly full. Best Wishes,R
