Can I shake these chills so I can breathe
I'm unaware of how to perceive
What I've become, a machine
Reciting these lines just to please

How did I fall into these holes you've already dug?
I've watched you bury yourself with no way to get up
And now I'm choking on earth and my lungs are screaming for air
But I placed myself in the dirt
You just needed a hand

The water is deep but I'll continue to tread
Ignoring these voices deep within my head
How do you fight dependency of this sort?
I never depended, I am so dependent, I know

The white room is near, it looks so inviting

Those empty blue pits are all verbalizing
The silently known, the constant arising
The point that they've known, but it's been in hiding
Buried within we, so burned from the lying
