  • @guo1986 But its worth mentioning that the original structure was built in the 14th century. When the original owner's son became shogun he turned it into a zen buddhism temple.

    本当に当時黄金だった建物は中尊寺金色堂くらいだったと思います­が。

  • This temple was originally built quite a log time ago, but a monk at the temple fired it in 1955. The mother of the monk committed suicide right after the incident. A sad story.
