@jakubgalczynski There are probably some sites dealing with the PRT/PTC. These are the agencies who ran the system before SEPTA. Also go on SEPTA's websites for shopping. They might have old books dealing with the history of the system. But in my opinon the Market Street line is older because of the track gauge. Broad Street has standard and Market has narrow like the trolleys.

@omfgCantGetaUsername I don't know what type of "cracking down" Gullianni set into effect because I would locate vagrants everywhere. In fact, I even seen a live unarmed robber taking place as I was exiting the MTA one time. Although, I can say there's not many wannabe tough teenagers beating up on people causing them heart attacks. They called themselves "flash mob" anyway both places have dirty subway to me there's a few stops that are clean.
