  • @lorez201 You're confusing protein quality (balance of amino acids for human consumption, presence of essential amino acids) with protein content. Spirulina has the highest known protein content of any natural food by mass (51-70%). On average 100g of Spirulina will contain 60g of assimilable protein.

  • As good as this stuff is for you, it is NOT the most protein rich food in the world. In fact, it's level of protein is largely the same as regular grade A milk.

  • Wow you're the one who is supporting spirulina. Okay I don't know what I don't know. I have a high willingness to learn and I'm willing to do whatever I need to to understand. I will take what you have to say as true but I want to understand why. So I have a few questions for you.

  • @studentoflife01 Chlorella likes fresh, tiplies rapidly requiring only carbon dioxide, water, sunlight, and a small amount of minerals to reproduce,it is about 45% protein However, because it is a single-celled alga, harvest posed practical difficulties for its large-scale use as a food source. use sedimentation Chlorella was suggested as a "dirt-cheap" protein supplement to the human diet. it control, cancer prevention, and immune system support it is 10 times more digestible than spirulline
