@SunbeltRyders 1. Did I say he was? I said about this! It would be a pretty elaborate lie.
2. You're grasping at straws here and putting words in my mouth. Warrior obviously had many issues with so many people, would do anything to get ahead or get out of shit, and just did things without care or anyone's permission. How can you NOT be suspicious about his demeanor? And I actually said that he shouldn't have stood up the fans that paid money to see him.

@darkpowrjd 1. Right because Vince has been so honest about everything else in his career, LMAO!!!
2. His father died, I think that's a pretty good reason. He had called Vince and told him he wouldn't be showing up, Vince was unsatisfied with that and basically said "F*** your father, this is the WWF!" Very mature attitude.

@SunbeltRyders 1. I find that very unlikely about this.
2. He's supposed to tell Vince why he wouldn't show up so they would at least know that he couldn't make it. That's the usual way of ANY job. If you are sick or something, you call off of work. It's not that hard to do. Don't leave them hanging as to where the hell you are. Remember that this was a string of dates, too. Why do you think it's okay to just not show up for work without any valid reason why?

@darkpowrjd 1. Or Vince might've been lying and had no idea what Jim's relationship with his dad was like.
2. None of Vince's business really, he's supposed to explain to Vince why his dad's death is important while he's dealing with that loss and grieving. Seriously? As far as letting him know in advance so they could rework the script or something, I'd guess the death wasn't planned..

@SunbeltRyders 1. Jim might've been lying about going to or even caring about the funeral.
2. Even if he did care and all of that, why didn't he tell Vince that from the beginning? Vince could've done an injury angle to write him out of having to appear, or they could've just done something as simple as the ring announcer saying something about him not being able to be there. He was in the system long enough to know better than to not show up. I know it sounds cruel, but still.

@darkpowrjd That's an incredibly immature attitude to have, especially in a business setting. You don't question someone's intentions the day their father or mother dies, that's an extremely personal time in anyone's life, and to put some WWF bs before that really shows the character of anyone who would do so.
You don't make Vince look any better by defending his heartless actions, you just make yourself look like a piece of scum.

@SunbeltRyders Did you hear what Vince said? Jim's dad wasn't exactly the most important person in his life, and Jim had past issues where he was hard to work with. If he didn't have a history of being a douchebag, perhaps the story would've been more believable.

How dare Vince McMahon question Warrior wanting to go to his dad's funeral?? W T F ??? Name me any other profession where your boss would complain about you taking a day off for your dad's funeral and that be okay.

@TSchweikert Probably cuz they didn't wanna pay him, those cheap bastards.
If I remember correctly the WWE did go to the Warrior and ask him if he wanted to appear in this video, but he refused.

Vince and WWE are Heartless bastards it does not matter if he as not seen his dad in a few years it still hurts when you father dies and you need time off to go to Funeral and stuff.
How can they say his dad passing away is not a reason to not travel hundreds of miles across the nation to do a couple of shows.
