Yamaha XT1200 is 261 kg and BMW GS is 258 kg but BMW is with 90% of fuel. Good Trick BMW! Adding the extra weight of 4 litter is a drop heavier than 261kg.

Conclusion: same weight, same power, same torque. But the difference is with Yamaha will have an ultra reliable tourer with no recalls on brake, gearbox, electronics... like BMW
