Agreed, I dont know who Matt Taylor is, but from the sound of his japanese i would say he is living in Japan still. Whereas SS is bit rusty. I was actually expecting some kansai-ben, he was probably struggling to use hyojungo =)

  • Matt Taylor's Japanese seems pretty solid.

Seagal's Japanese sounds quite shaky but thats probably a combination of being in front of an audience and having not used it regularly for a long time. I'm sure it was better when he was living in Osaka years ago.

  • didnt know he speaks nippongo

  • yea I mean no wonder Chuck Norris is his friend

  • It's readily apparent that Seagal learned his Japanese from monks, aikido sensei, and such. Not only by the words, but in the manner of speaking, does one demonstrate from whom the knowledge was gained.
