1 in 4 people in the US own a smartphone according to comScore. 1 in 3 according to Nielsen. Nielsen also reported that by the end of 2011, there will be more smartphones than feature phones.
We currently have about 57 million people with smartphones.
Main 3 big mobile players are RIM, Google, and Apple. Few months ago, Apple was ahead of Android. It'll be interested to see what the Verizon iPhone does to market share.
