Six dead in Britain after Church 'heals' HIV

At least six people have died in Britain after evangelical churches told them to stop taking their medication because they had been healed of HIV, medical professionals have revealed to Sky News.

To investigate the claim, Sky News sent three undercover reporter to one of the churches, the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Southwark, south London. The wealthy church was founded by Pastor T.B. Joshua, who claims to be a prophet, and has branches in Ghana, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Greece.

All three of the undercover reporters told church officials they were suffering from HIV, and all three undercover reporters were told they could be cured.

The reporters were also told they could discard their potentially life-saving antiviral medications.

On their website, the church claims to have healed everything from HIV to Crohn's disease to mental disorders.

"It is foolish advice and it is tragic advice because the consequences of this kind of advice can only be that people pass on HIV and can only be seriously bad for the individual concerned — including death," said former health secretary Lord Fowler.

No evidence has ever been submitted, upon which is testable and or validated, that god's grace can cure HIV. Furthermore, are you referring to me as a demon? I wish to make sure before I unload my caustic remarks. Thank you for commenting.

@LogicinspiresLiberty if it works for them to help them quit taking hiv drugs - mostly got to get through to the minds of people to simply help them ask some basic questions about the hiv test - people get all hysterical about the test results - all they have to do is question the test and remove their fears - it is sort of god's grace that allows people to calm down and think logically about the situation - only then will they see that there is no deadly virus - peace

@hivquestions: I need submit two responses. First, I must disagree with you that “god’s grace” is a necessary requirement for the permissibility of a relaxed psychological state. I will concede that some people ‘believe’ that it is a useful mechanism, but couldn’t it be equally true to state that it’s just a man-made placebo effect? One cannot qualify that god’s grace has a curative value without requisite validation. Thank you for commenting.

@hivquestions: It would certainly seem logical and reasonable to check and verify all test results, especially ones like HIV. Education in these matters is of supreme importance; wouldn’t it seem more prudent to procure the perspective of modern medicine first? I see no irrefutable proof to substantiate the claim that god’s grace can supersede modern medicine. Peace to you as well.

@holyaroma: During one of the initial interviews a person representing this organization states: "there are numerous testimonies of people who by god's grace are healed and set free and living exactly as you said."

It is clear that an intimation is made that the potential of 'god's grace' can remove said affliction. Conversely, if the affliction is not discharged, it must indicate that god chose not to extend his alleged grace. What they are doing is criminal.

No where on this video did anyone say they can personally heal If I am wrong please hilight it. What I did heard is if it is Gods plan. Stop putting word in people mouth. Very Very bad reporting. What I did get from this it that if you are heal then there is no need to take medication
