@dgschirmer and in the words of george soros 'technical analysis is an utter waste of time'
-
If you say Technical Analysis can produce far greater profits than fundamental analysis, why are you not richer than Warren Buffet who uses fundamental analysis? See that...even with the simplest question, you fail!
Don't compare Soros and Buffett..but compare YOU to Buffett!

Soros does not use technical analysis- he forms theses based on macroeconomic and geopolitical events, and then acts on them. You would be well advised to read 'the alchemy of finance' and his other works to understand his thinking on the subject.

You obviously make your money teaching technical analysis... fundamental analysis with good portfolio insurance through options and diversity is clearly the key to long term high returns.

I actually make money using my own analysis with my own money. I started my journey in investing and trading using fundamental analysis, it does work and is much better than nothing, however I will go head-to-head with any fundamental analyst in the world to prove that technical analysis always outperforms fundamentals. Just compare George Soros (TA) with Warren Buffet (FA)-both men I highly respect. Soros has outperformed Buffet 5:1 in the same time span. The results always tell the truth.
