Fantastic! I played this with the Warwickshire County Youth Orchestra on our tour of Malta in Feb. 1983. I remember we played it at the Salesian Theatre in Sliema and in the cathedral in Valletta. I think we also met the great Mr Camilleri himself.

I haven't heard it for 25 years, but it brings back happy memories to hear it now!

@williamcamilleri If you can't understand what's behind this piece of music, just don't pass comments like that. Even if a piece of music doesn't suit your tastes, you can't just say "how can you call this music,!!!!". Then tell us what is music, with example preferably.

This music is almost a parody of the local marches, played during local festives and celebrations, called "festa". Every village in Malta, traditionally organizes a week of celebrations every year.

Charles Camilleri era e rimarra un grande compositore dell'Isola di Malta.Lo ascolto sempre, soprattutto in bicicletta.
