ADA and AAC advocacy song brought to you by the ISAAC International AAC Awareness Campaign, the TASH Communication Committee, and Everyone Communicates. The programmed computer singing voice is provided by Snoopi Botten, who is an expert at making it possible for communication devices to sing. If you have a song you would like to sing on your AAC device (mp3 file), contact Snoopi at dectalk@aol.com with your programming request. People who use AAC can use communication devices not only to talk but also to sing!

  • How did you get the voice? I love it!

  • @whatisaredneck Thanks for the comment. We're glad you like it. Snoopi Botten programs DecTalk (text-to-speech synthesis technology) to sing. He somehow assigns pitch and timing to syllables in such a way as to produce singing that can be played on a communication device that accepts MP3 files. He is quite a master at it. You might want to contact him on Facebook. He has a new CD in the works. Judy Bailey

  • May I say....I came to get lyrics for Yankee Doodle....being British, I love how Americans turned the song against us:)

But this is even better.....I love the words and the points of view you put across so succinctly.....I love your new words!

I sure hope you campaign successfully, and thank you for opening a pair of new eyes

good luck and all the best

  • @jagdpanther1944 Thanks, Philip! It is lovely to hear that you enjoyed our new words. Thanks very much for the good wishes on our campaign. Judy from Virginia

  • How disappointing. Where are the pictures of people using AAC--or even the AAC device used here? This could be so much better.

  • @yooperann Thanks for your comments. We are hoping that people will use their AAC devices to share this song and then send us their photos. We would love to add photos from live singing events to the next video version of the song. For now, we are happy that we finished the song and video in time to upload and share before the ADA anniversary. We also invite people to make their own videos using the song and upload them.
