As it gets harder and harder to keep up with Herman Cain scandals these days, Hammer helps break it down.

The only reason Cain ran in the first place is because he wanted everyone to know how much he was getting laid.

Id vote for paul if he wasnt so impractical with everything. Social issues are social issues and economic issues are economic issues. Inflation makes it easier to have a business in the US as opposed to X country. If everybody used the gold standard, it would be practical. But china's weapon of choice is letting the yuan depreciate against the dollar, and theres our fun little noose we call capitalism. But you know, I really couldnt give a fuck about politics and all that

Lolwut, I really respect that you know who Gary Johnson is, but the true price of oil is much cheaper than any other energy out there in most cases(its a sad truth). Bernanke is probably a semi-keynesian, and is definitely a market monetarist if you want a homozygous theory. Sorry, sometimes people punch me in the face if I dont say a real school. But practically speaking, if we were to revert to gold standard our economy would shit itself. GDP wouldnt recede, itd plummet

Honestly, I would love to have free college education, free healthcare, and 100% renewable energy one day, but I think the government would run most efficiently w/ Ron Paul (or, even better, Gary Johnson, if the GOP nomination doesn't work out for Paul) so that is why I will be voting for him in my state's primary. One more thing, since I'm in a mood to write, Paul would end energy subsidies so that alternatives (ie, solar & wind) would become cheaper compared to the true price of oil.

Most of the people that support him do so because it is clear that he respects the Constitution, and individual freedom and liberty. He wouldn't force a law on us just because his individual morals have him live his life that way (he doesn't like abortion but he would not make a federal ban on it) - 10th amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I don't think reverting to a gold standard is necessary, although in theory it would control inflation better than anything else, but I support Paul because he wants to truly cut costs by our government. He doesn't want to cut out medicare or social security that some people rely on, but instead he supports trimming down our defense budget, not doing anything not stated in the Constitution as a power of the president, and ending prohibition (a failed policy that costs billions of $).

Ron Paul is a firm believer in the Austrian School of economics, while Bernanke's theories are based on Keynesian economics. I think the main difference is that Keynes theory supports governments spending money while they don't have any and Paul is more in favor of ending wars so that our government has actual money to spend and is no longer in debt.

If the US didn't do everything Israel says and not beat up everyone Israel points at, then maybe Israel couldn't afford to behave like an aggressive brat towards its neighbors anymore, and would be more inclined to compromise and negotiate, which is the only way for Israel to survive in the middle east in the long term.
