I took that class too, and yeah, she's using ASL.
She's singing in Japanese, but she's signing in English, which is weird.
I could only get bits and pieces of it, though. She says "I love you" at least once, "I hope you and her will socialize well" about half way through, she uses "heart" right before she waves, says "celebrate not" a good few times throughout the song, and she talks about some kind of relationship, literally saying "your and my relationship", along with some other things.

Looks like American Sign Language. I'm taking a college course of American Sign Language on the 17th. When I learn enough, I'm gonna watch this video again and see if I can interpret some of it :)
That is if the check for the class made it to SBVC on time and I don't get dropped from the class. X( My fingers are crossed.
Wonderful animation and directing. Definitely a favorite.
