oh my goodness 2:45 he makes it look so easy. This part kicks my ass, it kicks everyones ass. I love the expression on his face when he plays that section. Such a simple yet expressive face god he's good

He makes everything look so easy T.T
K well .. I'm not THAT bad at playing this concerto but Rostropovich's level is just I don't know how many levels beyond mine .. I'll never get this good . LOL man, thass some talent .
And I can't seem to get good enough at playing so that up there on the fingerboard my fingers look comfortable ? :(

@hairypakman Dude I'm 13 and I struggle with the Haydn Cello Concerto's third movement so don't get ahead of yourself. This man is practically beyond you. It doesn't matter how long you practice; you can never get as good as Rostropovich. Rest in Peace Rostropovich! You have inspired many cello players! And you have also inspired me. I would like to thank you for that.

De DVD is from 2006. The recording is from 1982. Yes it is indeed Carlo Maria Giulini.
