Why play a valve trombone? Just play a euphonium! Trombones are made because of the slide. Not valves!!!!

@sautezFort Probably cold. But its the first video I ever found of it. Could be a great jazz instrument, agil and strange sounding ,not as fat as a tuba.

@skitzo429 I know its called aCimbasso(Verdi) but it is a bass rotary valve trombone, I always thought the player was sitting . The bell is smaller than I thought. They are not totally in tune with each other. maybe the organ needs tuning,or the Cimbasso's 5th harmonic is by nature bit low.
I wonder if it is in G F or Eb?
