@PhotogOzkar You should blame the fickle punkers that turned against them when they voyaged off into major label land, dubbing them as rock star wannabe sellouts. Geffen was perhaps the best of the majors of the day w/ hiring fringe artists and placing them in a national presence. Take Sonic Youth or Nirvana for example. They even reissued The Raincoats at Cobain's behest.

I was 15 & in Georgia, when Dear You came out. It was the best thing on radio aside from Bad Religion. Those were good days.

@pplus0440 Piece of shit or not they're different songs with the same name. It's like when I was entering Bad Religion's incomplete into a jukebox and a friend told me he liked Jawbreaker's Incomplete better, resisting the urge to slap him twice, front and backhand, I curtly retorted that they were two distinct and different songs.

That's how I feel with you right now, and I have no intent to defend Lil Wayne, I just just find issue with offhand vapid ruminations.

Here's how things are gonna work now. Jawbreaker, braid, cap'n jazz, and kin get to be "emo", as well as newer bands with similar sound and themes.

Bands like Hawthorne Heights, are now "nüemo". Because Nü is german for shitty. I'm mostly (not) kidding.
