@gohomescotty Go with TTI or Schumacher headers and Get Schumacher's A Body RB swap kit. It eliminates the need for a big block equipped A body K-Member and can use your stock K Member even if it's a 225 / 6 K member. INVALUABLE resource. Also, 71+ A-Bodies had slightly bigger enginebays cuz Dodge was planning to go with a 383-440 option but becuz of rising Insur. and tighter emissions, it was ditched but the engine bays were still enlarged. Good luck man, Mopar Muscle!!!

@74dodge92 I had a 74 w/ a 440 w/ headers, 727, 8.75 and 4.10 gears. Put it this way, even with pizza cutters for tires, and not romping it much, I didn't own it for more than 6 months. It got about 4-7 mpg in town and highway, about 9-12. I didn't build the car either or I would've put 3.73 gears, 225"s out back and 195's up front w/ 650 cfm and tri-Y headers.

I am seriously interested in this car but I see your ebay auction is over tomorrow. Hope you have a reserve set.
The kicker for me is that I have 3 other cars like yours that I am looking at. I live near Annnapolis, Maryland so would it be possible for me to drive down to Virginia and see this tomorrow?
Also, I found a 1/8 mile to 1/4 conversion chart and your 1/8 time should put you around 10.7 for the ¼. Surprised you never raced this at Budds Creek in Southern Maryland (MIR)

Looking and counding good.
I see you have this for sale on Ebay. I could be interested espcially since you have it now painted blue. Do you have any time slips that show what this does in the 1/4?
How many miles on the Engine?
Transmission - how many gears?
What else needs to be done to allow this to pass tech inspection at the track?
Thanks

I have never run the car for the 1/4 mile. It has only been run on the 1/8th mile by the previous owner. He ran 6.86@110 on full slicks with a tiny 750cfm Demon Carb. I have now had a Holley 1050+ professionally flowed to 1170 and this car moves. I have been working on doing the body work and roll cage, along with fixing various little things, and have hardly had the chance to drive it. To pass tech, I have a piece of metal to block the pass through from the trunk to the passenger area.

You also need to weld in the driver side door bar of the cage, and get new seat belts. The Engine and trans has about 4000 miles on it. The trans is a 727 auto with reverse pattern manual valve body. This means it has three forward gears and you have to shift it, but without a clutch. It has a 3500 stall converter in it. This car is probably less than two full days of work from being street and track ready.
