awesome video man lovin it, do yall use pretty small dry flys in september? my fishing domain is here in the mountains of northern california but ive just started really getting into fly fishing this summer. i hope to have as much luck as you this fall.

For the first section it was a small green aphid pattern (simple grizzle hackle at the head and green thread body in a size 21). Later on it was a parachute olive in a size16 (olive dubbed body, antron wing post and parachute grizzle hackle)

Hi - it just depends; we can get quite a few small terrestrials on the water in late summer/fall. Also we do get a late hatch of quite large Baetis (B.rhodani) and various caddis/stoneflies too.
When I get my ass in gear I'll post a few more vids.
