Can't tell you how many times I've listened to that glorious moment at 4:10. It's one of my favorite musical moments of all time, and I've never heard it performed as spectacularly as the Gergiev/LSO recording. Love it!

It's a trumpet in F part. That means you've got to play a fifth up transposing it on a B-flat horn.

I think perhaps he's in a different part of the score with a similar tune as at 1'20" he does not hold the tied minim to dotted minim (displayed) longer than about a tied minim+crotchet. It does not detract from any points being made, I am just adding to the comments about the pitch.

not sure without getting my trumpet out, but I think its printed a 5th below what hes playing
