1:32 Spyro Theme!

this singer wrecks the whole thing, where the hell did they find him ? cuba?

Stewart is completely unique. He may have even invented a new style... if nothing less, you can always tell when Copeland is behind a kit. I've seen Sting use a half a dozen very solid drummers during his solo career and none of them could emulate Stewart's rhythms.

steward is a really good player, but this song is easy on drums.

@digger7106 Sorry, Keith Moon beat his drums senselessly (especially when drunk, which was all the time) and I hated that all he did was fills, and couldn't just make a beat for the band.
-
What a terrible song? The singer sounds like he's Latin version of Sting that's been smoking for 30 years!

Yes I agree Stewart is one of those drummers that was meant to drum. Like a singer that was born to sing. Stewart's talent is DRUMS. And I like the grooves and the fills and this video is cool. He's no doubt a genius in his own right. Wayne

He's OK.........if you like incredible drummers

Is anyone else here reminded of Spyro. Stewart, you are a master.

oh hell,he is a good drummer ,thats about it. he is not some f ing drum god for christ sakes. mitch mitchell, ginger baker, mickey hart, kieth moon at his drunkest are all better drummers. the list of better drummers is endless.
Stewart Copeland is without a doubt one of the best drummers ever - perhaps even my own personal favorite. Being a guitarist, he represents everything I wish I could have in a drummer since what mainly attracts me to his playing is how well he stays in his own -unique- pocket, only coming out when the music needs that extra flair or push. I wish more drummers would take note of just how important that is.

Whats most brilliant about stu's technique is that he hits hard, but he doesn't waste an ounce of energy, and he's never hitting hard without purpose. all the energy you see goes right into a clean solid, confident note each time.
