White House Apologizes to Sherrod

W.H. Press Secretary Robert Gibbs publicly apologized on behalf of the Obama Administration to Shirley Sherrod, who was fired after a speech she made was taken out of context. Jan Crawford reports.

Actually, O'Reilly did apologize - for himself and his show, not on behalf of Fox "News".

Breitbart is too busy lying right now on The Michael Savage show to apologize. He's an embarrassment to the country as far as I'm concerned, a coward and a scumbag.

Again send me the link that the laughter was edited in after the racist remark. This by Breitbarts reasoning was to expose NAACP hypocracy in their treatment of the Tea Party. Sharrod's story showed redemption, but that was not the point it was the laughter after the remark! If you want to discredit Breitbart you need to attack the CONTENT of his arguement which has NOTHING to do with Sharrod.

Once again, context means nothing to modern-day conservatives. That laughter didn't bother me at all. In fact she delivered it like a joke. Context. You are the one obsessed with editing. It's about context, and Breitbart put it out - first. It backfired on him. He gets what he deserves. (Needless to say, that will be more support from the Ditto-heads.)

The story was supposed to be about the NAACP laughing & applauding the racist comment Sharrod made. Sharrod being fired prematurely is a distraction from that don't you think? I've been told by other bloggers the tapes were edited, but none have been able to prove Breitbart wrong or that relevant part of the video being edited. So far his claim seems legitimate, so why condem him when it was the government who fired Sharrod?

Sherrod said that it IS about white and black.

She also said that she finally got the farmer help, by sending him to - "his own kind".

She made those 2 statements in 2010.

She was a racist 24 years ago, and she still is today.

If this were a white woman who said the same things in reverse - no one would be making excuses for her.
