Thanks for the advice(: me and a few of my friends are looking at going backpacking soon, we think we have most of what we need in mind. i have gore-tex boots, but they are black combat boots..? i don't know if that would be good or bad, i have found them to be comfortable but i'm not sure seeing as how i have never been backpacking
