@eljrclave8 i feel you on that one i never done this before but my coach always tells me run run run when ur not in the gym n when i go a weekend without running, sparring time i can't even go 3rounds of sparring im tired n weak. & look @ 1:18 instead of squatting there're bending their backs which is a big no no for boxing ur legs can take you a long way not ur back

@CrazyDave408 everybody at my gym wears socks and flip flops during the summer except me, its a wierd phenomenon.

More and more athletes and trainers and realizing the futility of pure long-distance running for conditioning (with the obvious exception of sports where the goal is running long distances, of course). More damage on joints and it trains your body to perform in a way that it wont be on "game day". Springs, HIIT and the like are much more effective, as well as "caveman" training practices and the like.

@KINGofALLkings910 hahah true. I train with pro champs in L.A and believe me, they run, but they include sprints, interval runs but 50 minutes of ruining(and no, not SLOW runs) flat and hills is were they get their weight down and base. But this is good too when ur lazy, u know, short and quick results! ;)

@corvusultima who's ur trainer?? so what ur "trainer" say is true, then why the fuck do this exercises if u gonna fight, just spar, right? This is good for conditioning, but i can see this guys need a boxing teacher not a conditioner, fatigue or not they need to work on the bag more than this. skills not so good.

& i doubt just push-ups and sparring will condition you well to go in the ring if so i'll be the greatest alive

@KINGofALLkings910 u are stupid as hell my ex trainer was the boxing legend and he never runS he says are we gona figt them or run away ...he gets condition by pushups and sparing ,,plus he is giving tips not showing new tayson or alli he is saying that if runing boring u ,,u have other ways .

@KINGofALLkings910 dude thats harsh, this guy knows his stuff. did u ever think maybe the fighters are really fatigued which is why they arent shadow boxing 100%, how do you know their skill level? for all you know they could be training 2 months or 6 years. go to his gym and judge him not by 2 boxers in a youtube video

these boxers need way more improvement than that shit they're doing wtf do u call that (shadow boxing? they have no movement no fucking foot work THEY ARE FLAT) who shadow box in ONE SPOT w/o any movement just standing there throwing punches not even on THEIR TOES. the guy with the nike on is ok w/his head movement but his feet are FLAT u gotta stay on YOUR TOES.other guy lol n i hope the guy that's talking is not the coach cuz ur a horrible coach if you tell ur boxers they dont need to run wtf
